What’s going on?
Canine PT and Me is expanding the available modalities in their space by inviting Very Important Pooch to offer our dog massage services a couple days a month.

My dog is getting Physical Therapy already, why would I add massage into the mix?
Pairing massage with physical therapy can help bring balance and relaxation to your dog after working hard with challenging exercises and stretches. Massage promotes speedier recovery times, encourages muscle growth through increased circulation, and increases happiness (as reported by their owners).

Massage can also help reduce joint and muscular pain, increase their body awareness, lower nerve tension, improve fur regrowth, and supports good digestion. More information about the Benefits of Massage are available on this website.

When are appointments available?
Appointments are available every-other Monday (1st & 3rd Mondays, currently). There are only five sessions available per day and they allow for an hour-long custom massage tailored to your dog’s specific needs.

How much is a massage session?
Unlike my mobile offerings, massages at Canine PT and Me are currently a flat $80 introductory fee. Rates are subject to change.

I already have a referral from my vet for PT. Why do you need another referral?
Each referral is legally specific to the company and modality. Your veterinarian should always be kept up-to-date with what treatments and services your dog receives to get the best care from everyone.
